Career and Placement Assistance by Mr. Gaurav Fauzdar, Regional Sales Manager, Internshala.

S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute, Mansarovar organized a session on “Career and Placement Assistance” under the aegis of Skill Development Cell (SDC). Institute Director Prof. (Dr.) Raju Agrawal welcomed the keynote speaker of the session Gaurav Fauzdar, Regional Sales Manager, Internshala. In his speech, he emphasized on developing effective career and placement skills such as Communication, Teamwork, Problem Solving, Initiative & Enterprise, Planning & Organizing and Learning skills. These are the essential professional skills required for managers into ‘Management Practice’, Tools and Best Practices. In his session, Gaurav Fauzdar explained to the students that Today's Higher education system is knowledge intensive. And, it should be because domain knowledge is the first step towards starting any career. Knowledge is what gets you, your first job. However getting a job does not mean you are industry ready. You need the skills to survive in that job. These skills cannot be taught by any higher education curriculum. However, institutions can create a skill improvement environment around their knowledge-based curriculum, to ensure that students are truly Industry Ready. Students need to make extra efforts to develop the right skills along with focusing on knowledge through books. It is necessary to be proficient in industry ready skills for a good job and career in future. He shared information about Placement Assistance Courses related to Product Development, Human Resource Management, Digital Marketing, Stack Development, and Animation etc. He emphasized the worth of industry ready skill development courses available on Internshala where students can sharpen their skills at their convenience and hands-on experience with industry oriented projects. Ms. Parul Bhargava (Training and Placement Officer, S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute) well drop anchored the session and proposed the vote of thanks.
