FDP cum workshop on Time Management by Ms. Deepa Ramchandani, Dhisukham.

S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute is organized Workshop on ‘Time Management’ on 6th April 2023.  Prof. (Dr) Raju Agrawal, Director, S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute welcomed the keynote speaker, academicians and participants and highlighted the importance of the time management in present world. He said that to plan and control how someone spends the hours in a day is essential to effectively accomplish their goals. A person with poor time management finds it difficult to initiate tasks, reach deadlines, or prioritize which tasks are important to complete. Poor time management can lead to feeling overwhelmed by daily tasks, or feeling left with a sense of failure when you are unable to complete everything you had planned. Learning to effectively manage your time can reduce stress levels and lead to greater productivity. By applying time management both faculty members and students can improve their ability to achieve the most important tasks within the time available to them. Ms. Deepa Ramchandani, Psychologist and Founder, Dhisukham Councelling Services was resource person for the workshop. She explained the concept of time management in a different way. She discussed the notion of time perception as experience or awareness of the passage of time. Time perception is a fundamental element of human awareness. Our consciousness, our ability to perceive the world around us and, ultimately, our very sense of self are shaped upon our perception of time in loop connecting memories of the past, present sensations and expectations about the future. The human experience of change is complex. One primary element clearly is that of a succession of events, but distinguishable events are separated by more or less lengthy intervals that are called durations. Thus, sequence and duration are fundamental aspects of what is perceived in change. Manifestly, duration is relative to the events people isolate in the sequences through which they live. We experience time as a function of information entering the brain. Time is experienced based on the neural representation of what we experience. More representation, more time felt. Less representation, less time felt. Thus managing your time involves prioritizing responsibilities and reducing time spent on unimportant tasks. Those who have good time management are able to complete tasks effectively and efficiently. She suggested the ways of good time management such as preparing a To-do list, Be morning person, restrict your screen time, Giving your 100% will give you good accurate results, Be positive about things you are doing in your life, Do your emotional healing, Make a companion to push you on time, keep Track of Your Daily Activities, Evaluate Your Priorities as urgent and important. The urgent are not important, and the important are never urgent. For better results connect yourself with Divine. Ms. Parul Bhargava, Assistant Professor cum Placement Faculty, S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute, Jaipur well coordinated the program and delivered vote of thanks.  The session was very insightful with fruitful interactions between the speaker and the participants.
