An International Conference on “Artificial Intelligence in New Era” was organized at the S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute, Jaipur on 20th December 2024. Prof. (Dr.) Raju Agrawal, the Director of the S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute, Jaipur organized the International conference on the very relevant contemporary issue. In his welcome address Prof. Dr. Raju Agrawal discussed the relevance of AI and its immense use in the fields of management. He encouraged the participants to explore the new areas in which AI has made forays and emphasized that efforts should continue to improve AI but the importance of the human intellect is endless and cannot be undermined. The International & National Delegates were delighted with the traditional welcome with Tilak, turban and shawl.
The Chief Guest was Dr. Vijay Singh Rathore, Director, Shri KKarni Universe College, Jaipur. In his key note address he talked about the power of AI to make human life easier but also want about the immense dangers of letting AI take over our lives. His talk was a dynamic take on the possibilities and challenges of AI in the New Era. Prof. Milan Tuba, Head Artificial Intelligence & Vice-Rector of Research, Sinergia University, Serbia delivered a very informative talk on how the use of AI has consistently being becoming more and more useful in the medical field from the use of real time x-ray machines to digital imaging, blood profiting and accurate diagnosis.
He emphasized on accuracy in research and the need to combine technology with applicability to real life challenges. Dr. Sheng-Lung Peng, Dean Innovative Design & Management, National Taipei University of Business, Taiwan spoke about skill development and narrated his personal experiences while using technology and AI and how understanding, using and controlling the outcomes of technology were a skill of the current times. Prof. (Dr.) Eva Tube, Assistant Professor, Computer Science, Trinity University, Antonio, USA began her talk about distinguishing between the old era and the new era of AI. She said that machine learning had been around for a hundred years approximately but recent strides in technological evolution necessitated that people from all walks of life kept abreast of technology.
The program was anchored by Ms. Parul Bhargava and the vote of thanks was delivered by Prof. Dr. Jyotsna Mehta.
