Workshop on Solar Power and Waste Management as business innovation opportunity

S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute, Mansarovar under the aegis of Institute Innovation Council (IIC) organized a workshop on “Solar Power and Waste Management”. Mr. Vichar Vyas (SMGF Grihashakti) was the keynote speaker for the Workshop. At the outset the students were welcomed, made aware about the objective of the workshop and the initiatives of Institution Innovation Cell. Prof. Dr. Raju Agrawal, Director, S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute and IIC Convener welcomed the keynote speaker and presented a bouquet. In his speech, he motivated students to develop a business plan in the sector of solar power and waste management. There are several solar and waste managment business opportunities in India that entrepreneurs can explore. In the workshop, Mr. Vyas in his statement shared his own work, experiences during solar power and waste management business. He told that solar business opportunities in India are vast, and entrepreneurs can capitalize on this growing market. With the government’s focus on increasing the country’s solar power capacity, there has been a surge in the number of solar power plants being set up across the country. Entrepreneurs can also explore opportunities in solar panel manufacturing, solar water pumping, solar street lighting, solar home lighting systems, solar water heating, and solar energy consulting. There are a lot of options when it comes to moving ahead with the waste management business such as paper recycling, e-waste management, rubber recycling, glass recycling etc. The workshop was coordinated by Parul Bhargava (IIC member). IIC Coordinator Kaneenika Jain proposed the vote of thanks. The workshop highlighted the importance of entrepreneurship in the field of solar and waste management. More than 45 students and faculty members participated in the workshop.
