Workshop on Stress Management for Entrepreneurs

S. S. Jain Subodh Management Institute organized a workshop on ‘Stress Management for Entrepreneurs’ for MBA students. The objective of the workshop was to share the ways to avoid the stress in day to day life and retain to good mental health.

Prof. (Dr) Raju Agrawal, Director of the Institute, welcomed the speaker with a green plant as a token of gratitude. He interacted with the students on various issues of stress in the life. He said that Stress is an inevitable part of life. No matter how much we try to avoid it, it will eventually affect us. Managing stress effectively is essential for maintaining a healthy and balanced life. If a person doesn’t make expectations from others, he may avoid being stressful. The speaker of the session, Mrs. Simla Bhardwaj, (Naturopath and Dietician) discussed that Entrepreneurship is an exhilarating journey filled with opportunities, challenges, and constant changes. While it can be incredibly rewarding, it can also be remarkably stressful. The pressures of running a business, making critical decisions, and dealing with uncertainty can take a toll on even the most resilient entrepreneurs. She elucidated the triggers behind stress. She also shared techniques to manage stress effectively such as relaxation technique, time management, healthy diet, meditation etc. Mindfulness and meditation practices can help entrepreneurs stay grounded and reduce stress. Taking a few minutes each day to meditate or practice mindfulness exercises can improve focus and reduce anxiety. Effective time management can alleviate stress by ensuring you allocate time to essential tasks and avoid burnout. The program was coordinated by Kaneenika Jain. More than 70 students participated in the workshop with immense zeal and learnt the meditation with practical experience.
